Firm founder, Andrew Switlyk takes great pride in representing and fighting for the rights of his clients. Licensed since 2006, Andrew is admitted to the Nevada, California, Washington and Florida bars. Over the years, he has successfully and personally represented hundreds of clients in civil, domestic / family law, criminal and appellate cases. Andrew brings extensive litigation and jury trial experience to the firm. His background also includes working for some of the largest companies in Silicon Valley, such as at Google and LinkedIn. His diverse experience allows him to provide exceptional representation and personal attention to each of his clients.
Emily Switlyk
Legal Specialist
Emily Switlyk brings a wealth of experience and dedication to The Switlyk Law Firm, P.A. Licensed to practice law in Florida since 2006, Emily has a diverse legal background gained from experience as both a legal assistant and practicing attorney. She started her legal career as an intern and civil claims representative for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Tampa, Florida. In this role, she was part of the in-house legal team providing representation to the Sheriff’s Office in auto negligence, civil rights, and forfeiture claims. While in law school Emily worked with for the Children’s Advocacy Clinic at Florida State University and helped provide legal guidance regarding guardianships, child custody modifications, and parental-time sharing agreements. After graduating Florida State University College of Law in 2006, she worked as a prosecutor and then transitioned to private practice, representing both individuals and corporations as well as providing local counsel for various corporations and banking institutions. Her areas of representation included domestic and family law, contract negotiations, and general civil litigation. In her role as Legal Specialist for The Switlyk Law Firm, P.A., Emily prides herself on going above and beyond for client cases by leveraging her extensive legal experience to provide exceptional support and insight.
